Most of theses floor failures can be attributed to the fact that the floor surfaces are improperly prepared. The result is a floor coating that "sets" on top of the cement surface rather than embedding into it. The result is the DIY, do-it-yourself box store or online kits create a floor surface with "peeling and cracking" properties. It is common for these floors to show signs of peeling, cracking, or failure within two years or less.
